I am Renald Surpris,
INVENTOR, CEO/FOUNDER of TRU Safety Gear. It all started with a request from my daughter to make her a TRON suit for character day in High School. After a long night building the TRON suit, I decided to drop her off at school the following morning. Everyone knows how busy the traffic is in front of a high school. I came close to hitting a police officer who was conducting traffic in front of the school.
The situation almost turned bad. It became evident that visibility was an issue. I began to draft the concept and created a HARNESS SYSTEM to go over an existing vest. Years later, we learned that an integrated LED vest would be a preferred option. So, we came back with the first fully integrated vest that will provide the safety while helping the officer conduct traffic.

Our vests are designed to make the wearer visible from a distance both DAY and NIGHT, regardless of the weather. Our vests are not just reflective but also produce lights in a strobing fashion, ensuring that the wearer is visible in all conditions and angles.
